Jersey

Jersey had always wanted to try a pole class, but found it very intimidating. Having always enjoyed various fitness activities, she finally decided to try her first pole class in 2015. She fell in love with the challenge of combining strength and flexibility that pole fitness offers. Her favorite aspect of being an instructor is teaching students to overcome their doubts and fears by accomplishing something they thought they couldn’t do. She especially loves teaching beginners and seeing how empowered they feel after a great class. Her goal is to help bring the athleticism and art of pole to the forefront of fitness.

Katie

Katie took her first ever pole class in 2017, two years after losing her mother. She was desperate for a new hobby and creative outlet, and found just that at Shore Pole! A cheerleader and gymnast in her early years, the strength aspect of pole intrigued her. After being laid off from her day job, she decided to immerse herself in as many classes, competitions, and performances as possible. Shortly after in 2018, an opportunity arose for a spot teaching Intro to Pole and she jumped at the chance. Katie’s favorite part of teaching is seeing her students crush their goals. What she loves about pole is that it can be for any person, at any age, who has any (or no) experience in dance! Come let her show you that with a little persistence, anyone can be a pole dancer!
